Things have been going pretty well, especially with piano. I think I'm going to start setting little goals at the beginning of each week (such as mastering a page of a piece, or getting all of my all state music under control, etc.). I'm making good progress on my working piece, but I need to step it up a little bit with senior recital prep. I do need to structure my warm-up and technical exercises a little differently - right now, I've been doing warm up scales into new scales and then warm up dozen a day into new dozen a day. Instead, I should probably do warm up scales and warm up dozen a day, THEN new scales and new dozen a day for my technical advancement.

1. Revisit your flow plan (in your project proposal)

2. Assess where you are in the plan (are you flowing completely, partially, stuck on a part?)
I am making good progress on the scales; I've pretty much mastered all of the sharp scales (maybe not all memorized, but I can definitely play them). With my etudes, my finger dexterity has improved a lot, and I can play and sight-read with more skill sooner. My pieces are coming along quite well... in general, the progress on piano is going as planned.

3. Comment on any revisions (length of time, sequence of concepts, etc.)
The length of time spent on each component is pretty much the same as when I set it. Some days it might fluctuate a little bit (I'll spend a little more time on my scales then do a little less time on etudes), but as I said, everything's pretty much going as planned.

4. Plot the final phase (continue in the flow, plans for moving forward, solutions to problem solving, etc.)
From now on, I might change the time up a bit so that I can spend longer on my polishing pieces to prepare for the theoretical recital. Hopefully I will be able to talk to Jim after school today about the venue.
